-Sladderday-
In teams (to be determined by class size), assign the
following movements (ground to shoulder, back squat, shoulder to overhead, or
dead lift (female only)), one to each member of your team. Within the designated
period of time, only going up in weight by 10# per attempt, and never being
able to go down in weight, decide on a single starting weight. At this starting
weight, each member of your team must complete 1 rep of their assigned movement
to remain in the rotation. Once a member is not able to complete a rep of their
assigned movement, they are done but the remaining members can keep adding
weight. The time clock is set to a 90 second interval.
For example, if a team of 3 chooses ground to
shoulder, dead-lift, and back squat, and lets say they decide on a starting
weight of 75. They must all do 1 rep of their assigned movement. At 90 seconds
(the beep), they will have added 10# and again, will need to 1 rep each, etc.,
etc.
The event starts with an empty bar and a full set of
plates including 2 pairs of training plates and 1 pair of 5#. Members can help
rack the bar for teammates if back squat or shoulder to overhead are assigned.
Females weights get multiplied by 1.5 if on a mixed
team.
Highest total team weight wins.
